Day -6

Here is a photo of Jeanne and Josina this afternoon. During a BMT the day of the actual Bone Marrow Transplant is considered Day Zero. Since it is six days until the scheduled transplant, that puts us at Day -6. Jeanne is doing well today.

If anyone wants to send a card or letter she can receive mail at Harper Hospital. We will also bring any mail sent to her home, of course. Send mail to

Hi Jeanne,
You look so pretty sitting there with Josina. I check this site each and everyday. I enjoy reading everything about you and your progression to day "zero". This is such a wonderful way for all of us to stay in touch with you the best we can. My prayers continue to come your way, and you are in my thoughts always. G

Jeanne:
We will join the countdown with you! You know the entire PIDC is thinking about you and I am keeping you on more than one person's prayer list. I have a bad habit of mentioning people I care about to my mother who has an even worse habit of keeping them on her list long after recovery is completed. I will check on a good time to visit. Take care.
