Jeanne is doing ok tonight. She was able to get a good night's sleep last night (after all the crazyness of the day--see 2/26 post), and spent more than 4 hours sitting up today. She is still pretty sick, and is using the BiPap machine 20 hours a day, but is seems like she is getting better slowly. She medical team is pleased with her progress, and she seems pleased as well. She cracked a joke with one of her doctors today, which is always a nice benchmark.

Hi Jeanne,
The latest report on the blog is such wonderful news. Although I know your progress must seem slow to you, it sure does sound like things are on the up swing. Can't wait to talk to you and hear your voice again!! Take care, rest well, do whatever the doctors say, and you'll be home VERY soon!!

Hugs,
G

HI Jeanne- I am sure that you can beat this last setback. You look like a Zen Buddhist priest in your photo- and that same pure light is shining in your eyes. You've been in my heart during these months- and you'll stay there!

Hi Jeanne-
It's been a while since I've seen you & I'm sorry I haven't written sooner. It looks like you've had even more trials in the last few days with the "facilities" issues at the hospitals and such, not to mention your pneumonia, but you're powering through it. Good for you! Life here at SON is same 'ol same 'ol, and for our office the end of classes doesn't mean things get slower. I hope you're enjoying the longer, sunnier days and getting a little better, a little stronger with each of them! I thought you'd be pleased to know that I'm still nursing Baby Lily, and she will be 8 months old tomorrow. Never thought I'd be able to keep it going this long but your support motivated me. Hope to have a nice chat with you when you get back. Meanwhile just keep kickin' it like the trooper you are! Warm hugs & best wishes-
Lisa Papp, UMSON OBFA
