This blog provides news about Jeanne's bone marrow transplant and healing to her family, friends and colleagues.

Jeanne is still pretty sick. She has continued using the Bipap machine, which blows extra oxygen into her lungs when she breaths, but she has also been breathing some on her own without the assistance. She got out of bed and sat in a chair for a couple of hours over the course of the day, and is feeling comfortable. There are more blood cultures being analyzed while her medical team is trying to pin down the root of her pneunomia.

Jeanne appreciates the message we have been relaying to her, but does not want to have visitors right now. To contact us, please call Josina's cell phone at 313-408-7076, but it may take us a while to return messages.

Jeanne,
Rest well and let your medical team members help you get back home once again, right where you belong. I look forward to talking with you on the phone, and visiting you again very soon. After you've rested and find the energy, put forth some of that Jeanne "Spunk" just like you did several weeks ago. Before you know it, you'll be sitting in your own living room.

Hugs,
G

Hi Jeanne,

Keep on fighting. I am praying for you and know you will pull through. If you get to a point where you would like a visitor, please let me know and I'd love to come over to see you.

Lots of love,
Marti
