Jeanne is stable and is still in the ICU. There seems to be some improvement, albeit quiet slowly, in her lungs and blood counts. She was a little less groggy today, and was able to eat a few bits of fresh melon to supplement the IV nutrition she is receiving. She was able to spend most of the day breathing with supplemental oxygen but without the machanical assistance of the Bi-Pap machine which is great.

Hi Jeanne --
A note from Barbara Anderson in Seattle (ACNM)-- I let her know you are in the hospital and gave her the link to your blog.
"OK, just want her to know that we are all thinking of her and she is included on all our activities.
Barbara"
I'm sending lots of love and light!!

Hi Jeanne,
I think of you so much and wonder how you are doing. I hope each day you are improving. I look forward to talking with you as soon as you are up to it. Take care and know that many, many people are sending loving thoughts your way.

I'm so glad I was able to visit yesterday. I wanted to see you and help the J's have some time to catch up on things at home. I was going to read to you from the NYT, but, that seemed like it might be depressing - of course, Dubya's approval rating is dismal so people are maybe WAKING UP and when you are better you'll be able to celebrate that...I am hoping I can see you again soon.
Lots of love from Sarah G.
Dear Jeannie, Jon, Josh, Josina,
John and I are sending all our positive thoughts in your direction. We are there to celebrate - to suffer - to be part of your supporting friends.
We know that if anyone can fight this, it is Jeannie; for that fight we are sending huge hugs.
We love all of you and hope we can continue to help relieve a little bit of the pain. Love, Renee and John
